Watercolors, oils, acrylics and drawings of
landscapes, views, nature and models made in Greece,
The Netherlands and Surinam.
The chapter “Compositions” shows collages composed
of cuttings of drawings, watercolors and acrylics. They are my 2008 way of
looking on my neighbourhood in Mani.
“Portraits” contains a series of watercolors called
“Split”. The
term “Spagaat” or “Split”
originating from ballet is sometimes used in the figurative sense, meaning:
being in a difficult position. The works shown here are about a not so
pleasant mood or mental state caused by personal awkwardness.
Most of my work is exhibited in "Που Πας;", gallery for contemporary art, located in Areopoli, Peloponnesos, Greece.
